Miller Developments is optimistic about the prospects for significant development opportunities over the next few years. In spite of the ongoing market depression, lack of bank finance and uncertainty regarding economic predictions we are well-placed in staffing and financial terms to take advantage of these conditions where interesting opportunities emerge.
We will continue to prudently manage our existing interests across the UK and 7 countries in mainland Europe but our short term focus will be the UK.
We have £50m of equity available which we are keen to use in development situations where there is the potential for prelets and occupational demand in every sector of the market. We are extremely interested in hearing about distressed assets or other property opportunities where we can fully utilise our development skills, financial strength and partnership culture to act as a catalyst for the generation of profitable projects.
Our three priorities for new business are:
Assisting overgeared lenders to restructure bank loans to allow projects to proceed.
Working with the public sector to unlock value in publicly owned assets.
Supermarket developments.
