Pacific Quay Developments Ltd

Pacific Quay Developments Ltd is a Miller Developments joint venture with CTP and Grovesnor, and another excellent example of our long term approach.

The consortium was established in order to regenerate the former Glasgow Garden Festival site on the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow.  The site which hosted the Garden Festival in 1988 lay vacant until 1997, when Scottish Enterprise saw the location as a regeneration opportunity.

Pacific Quay Developments Ltd beat tough competition and was selected as the developer most likely to realise this ambition.

The location now plays host to a Science Museum, an IMAX cinema, Glasgow’s tallest building, The Scottish Criminal Records Office and the BBC’s new Scottish HQ.

Planning consent was granted for an additional 50,000m2 edge of centre business park. 10,000m2 has already been built out and let, including the landmark pre-letting of 6,000m2 to Scottish Media Group for its new bespoke built HQ.

Pacific Quay is unrivalled in Glasgow due to its riverside setting and walking distance from the city centre.
