Rebuilding with purpose

Immediately post acquisition, we let a building contract for the demolition of all buildings on the site as well as other site clearance works.

A comprehensive planning application was lodged in March 2016 for residential use. We anticipate obtaining consent by the end of 2016.

A conditional contract has been concluded with a national housebuilder who will purchase the entire site following receipt of planning consent and the completion of further infrastructure works.

Onward sale

The sale of the site is anticipated to be completed in mid-2017 after we have completed infrastructure works. The residential development will then commence. The masterplan assumes some 480 houses and the project will take 6 years or so to complete.
