Change of Use

With a willingness to speculate on whether planning consent can be achieved for change of use and a specialist team with expertise, imagination and commitment, Miller Developments has funds available for unconditional property acquisitions with the potential for higher value uses.

We have secured a number of opportunities, primarily across Scotland, where we can add value through the planning process.  The following are just a few examples of the type of properties we have acquired to date:

Clyde Workshops, Cambuslang

13 acre former workshops of the British Steel Corporation at Cambuslang, purchased as an active strategic investment.

Fullwood Foundry, New Stevenston

A 28 acre former foundry purchased for future residential development. Allocation has been given in the emerging Local Plan and outline planning for up to 300 units has been granted.

Thurso

Former 8.5 acre livestock auction market purchased redevelopment. Planning for 30,000 sq ft (2,787m²) foodstore and residential units achieved.

Linwood

A 120 acre Mixed Use site in Paisley, purchased in April 2011 from the administrators to Mountgrange (Linwood) Ltd.
