Purchased in December 2004 for £216m, the Brunel property portfolio consisted of eight well established properties across the UK let to strong tenants.

Somerfield’s HQ in Bristol was the largest of the eight properties, representing over 30% of the whole portfolio, and terms for the simultaneous sub sale to a well financed private overseas investor was agreed.  This was structured as a separate contract, although Miller fronted all commercial and contract negotiations.

In 2005 a phased disposal of the portfolio was undertaken and the final property, Ralli Quays in Manchester, was sold in 2007.
