In partnership with St. Edmundsbury Borough Council, our joint venture subsidiary Centros Miller undertook the 265,000 sq ft (24,620m²) redevelopment of the town centre's former Cattle Market site.
The scheme effectively extends the town’s original medieval grid street pattern that was set out by Abbot Baldwin in the 11th century and includes a department store, 35 shops, 62 residential units, a new public building and 850 car parking spaces.
Debenhams signed as the anchor store and were joined in the line up by leading retailers including, Next, HMV, TopShop/TopMan, Waterstones, H&M, New Look, Clarks, Hobbs, Monsoon, Jane Norman, Wallis and River Island.
Arc opened in spring 2009
